Hopping to Help Senior Citizens

Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester (New York) has partnered with a local branch of Home Helpers, Inc. for a project called Furry Friends Visit. The new program brings pets into the homes of senior citizens for the day. What a great idea for people who are unable to have a pet. See the complete article here. Lollypop Farm provides the pets and they also have a “Seniors-for-Seniors” program, which eliminates adoption fees for seniors adopting older pets.
